Rental Orders and Rental Agreements
Rental orders and rental agreements that are created in LN can be viewed in Mobile Service. Like service orders, rental orders are displayed in the Schedule screen as visits. Rental orders are displayed with a rental icon (key with dollar label) to distinguish them from service orders.
To view a rental order and its rental agreements, the Rental Agreements option in the Service User Templates (tsmdm1660m000) session must be selected, and you must be assigned as operator to one or more rental agreements of the rental order.
Rental orders and their rental agreements can be viewed in Mobile Service as soon as one or more rental agreements of the rental order have the Planned status.
The rental orders contain rental agreements. The rental agreements can be viewed under the Rental Agreements tab after opening the visit record. You can view and maintain the following data of every accepted rental agreement:
- Tasks
- Inspections
- Equipment
Note: The rented equipment can only be viewed.
- Materials
- Travel time
- Other costs
Note: Other costs of type 'Rental' can only be viewed.
- Documents
Rental orders can have (maintenance) activities. These can be added or viewed, and maintained within the (rental order) visit when you are assigned to the activities.
In Mobile Service rental agreements can be accepted or declined. They cannot be started, stopped or completed, like can be done with activities. Rental agreements are not printed on the visit report. It is also not possible to finalize a rental order visit, except when activities are completed for the rental order.
