Browsing order pegging relationships

In production and supply chain management, pegging relations provide an insight into how demand and supply are interconnected. In the Select for Order Pegging (cprrp0740m000) session you can use:

  • The Browse option to view the order pegging relations in a tree structure, in the Order Pegging (cprrp0740m200) session.
  • The Print option to print a report of the order pegging relation.

You can view order pegging relations based on a planner, planning cluster, plan item and so on. The planner-based order pegging is required to:

  • View specific orders that are assigned to a particular planner and track progress.
  • Prioritize specific order types and orders that require special attention.
  • Check if the production orders are delayed and expedite, if required.
  • Identify the specific reasons for an order delay, such as material shortages, supplier issues or capacity constraints.

Planning cluster-based order pegging enables you to track supply and demand for operations across multiple locations.

You can view the order pegging relations based on:

  • A planning cluster
  • A combination of planner, order type, and a range of order numbers
  • A combination of planning cluster, order type, and a range of order numbers

The order pegging relations are displayed in a tree structure, in the Order Pegging (cprrp0740m200) session, with each branch representing an order. The branches are displayed in red or black based on the priority of an order. You can select a branch to view the order and item related information in the Order Details section.
