- Master Plan
-
If this check box is selected, an item master plan is maintained for the item.
Note:- If this check box is selected, you can use master planning next to order planning to plan supply.
- If this check box is cleared, master-plan functionality is not available. In this case, order planning is the only available planning system for this item.
- Only maintain a master plan for an item if you need specific master-plan functionality, because it can decrease system performance.
- Use Time Fence
- If this check box is selected, Enterprise Planning uses the time fence according to the setting of the Generate within in the Generate Order Planning (cprrp1210m000) session to plan orders for an individual item.
- Time Fence
- The time fence.
- Time Fence Unit
-
The time unit in which the time fence is expressed.
Allowed values
- Days
- Hours
- Forecast Time Fence
-
The forecast time fence.
This field contains the default value for the Forecast Time Fence field in the Items - Planning (cprpd1100m000) session.
- Order Horizon
- The order horizon.
- Planning Horizon
- The planning horizon.
- Production Schedules
-
The time period for which Enterprise Planning uses planned production schedules to plan the supply.
The production schedule horizon is expressed as the number of working days from the date you execute the simulation.
If the value is zero, Enterprise Planning does not use planned production schedules to plan supply.
To calculate this value, LN uses the calendar linked to the enterprise unit of the default warehouse of the plan item.
Note: This field is applicable only if Repetitive Production Schedules check box is selected in the Repetitive Manufacturing Parameters (tirpt0100m000) session. - Operations Horizon
- The number of workdays after which the fixed lead-time horizon starts.
- Lead Times
-
- Planned Order
- The order lead time.
- Safety
-
The safety time defined in the Items - Ordering (tcibd2100m000) details session.
The safety time is expressed in days, or hours.
- Extra Lead Time
- The extra lead time.
- Extra Lead Time Unit
-
The unit in which the extra lead time is expressed.
Allowed values
- Days
- Hours
- Fixed Delivery
-
The fixed-delivery code for the plan item.
- COLT
-
-
- Automate Update Horizons
-
If this check box is selected, LN automatically updates the order horizon and/or the planning horizon when you run the Check Horizons (cprpd1200m000) session.
-
- Available to Transfer
-
- Extend ATT Time Fence
-
If this check box is selected, the ATT Time Fence can be increased with an additional lead time.
If this check box is cleared, the ATT time fence can be increased by a multiplier. Non-excess cost pegged supply may be transferred to another demand with a higher priority. New supply is raised to fulfil the demand of the original cost peg.
Note: This transfer is allowed if it does not adversely impact the original owner. To replenish, the original order must have the demand date beyond an ATT Time Fence (Available to Transfer Time Fence). This time fence is based on the order lead time.Allowed values
- Additional Lead Time
- If you select this option, you can specify the additional lead time to include in the ATT Time Fence calculation.
- Lead Time Multiplier
- If you select this option, you can specify a multiplier on the order lead time for the ATT Time Fence calculation.
- Available to Transfer Additional Lead Time
- The additional lead time that can be included in the ATT Time Fence calculation.
- Available to Transfer Lead Time Multiplier
- The multiplier on the Order Lead Time for the ATT Time Fence calculation.
- Capable to Promise
-
- Online ATP Update
-
If this check box is selected, LN updates the ATP for a plan item online if a planned or actual inventory transaction is recorded for the plan item.
LN updates the ATP over the entire planning horizon, but only in the actual scenario.
Note:Online ATP updates require processing power and therefore performance. You must only use online ATP updates for:
- Items for which the CTP is checked online
- Items for which the CTP is used during distribution planning
- Business processes that require up-to-date ATP figures
You can select this check box only if the Master Plan check box is selected.
Note: If you use ATP functionality for an item that has no master plan, no online ATP updates are necessary. In this case, the ATP is always computed online. - Critical in CTP
-
critical in CTP
Note: The performance (speed) of the component CTP check is greatly influenced by the number of components that are checked. The best approach is to have only the most important components checked. - Component CTP
-
If this check box is selected, a component CTP check is carried out for this item, if the CTP of this item is checked, and the requested quantity of the item cannot be covered by the available inventory.
- Capacity CTP
-
If this check box is selected, a capacity CTP check is carried out for this item, if the CTP of this item is checked and the requested quantity of the item cannot be covered by the available inventory.
- Channel ATP
-
If this check box is selected, a channel ATP check is carried out in addition to other CTP checks.
- CTP Time Fence
- The CTP time fence.
- CTP Horizon
- The CTP time fence.

- Forecast
-
- Forecast
- If this check box is selected, the corresponding fields in the group box are enabled.
- Forecast-Based Generation Method
-
If this check box is selected, the inventory plan is generated on the basis of the expected demand of the plan item during a certain forecast horizon.
If this check box is cleared, the inventory plan is generated on the basis of the safety stock level and the seasonal pattern.
Note: This check box is enabled only if the Forecast check box is selected. - Dependent Demand Forecast
-
If this check box is selected, the calculation of the demand forecast is based on the historical demand data of both the dependent demand and the independent demand.
If this check box is cleared, the calculation and consumption of the demand forecast is based on the independent demand only.
If the calculation of the demand forecast takes the dependent demand into account, the forecast is also consumed by the dependent demand.
Note: This check box is enabled only if the Forecast check box is selected. - Forecast Horizon
-
The forecast horizon.Note: You can access this field only if the Forecast-Based Generation Method check box is selected.
- Options
-
- Central Multicompany Planning
-
If this check box is selected, the item can be planned in a central multicompany planning run.
If you clear the Central Multicompany Planning check box in the Planning Parameters (cprpd0100m000) session, this check box is not available.
- Exclude from Pegging
-
If this check box is selected, the planned item is excluded from order pegging.
Note: This check box is disabled if the plan item is a project pegged item. - Critical in Master Planning
-
If this check box is selected, this plan item is critical in master planning. This means that in the master-planning process in Enterprise Planning , this item is treated as a critical component.
In order planning, all components are taken into account. In master planning, only critical components are considered.
Note: Master planning uses an item's bill of critical materials (BCM) for production planning. As a rule, the BCM is derived from the BOM, and contains only those components that are designated as critical in master planning. You can generate a BCM for an item in the Generate Bill of Critical Materials (cprpd3220m000) session. - Consume Standard Inventory
