Generate Actual Attendance (bpxtm2250m000)

Use this session to generate the actual attendance data for the employees.

Note:

This session can also be accessed using the Generate Actual Attendance option from the Actions menu in the Actual Attendance (bpxtm2150m000) and the Attendance Overview by Employee (bpxtm3600m000) sessions.
If the Exception on Approval check box is selected in the Attendance Types (bpxtm1150m000) session, the actual attendance data is generated, and the attendance balances are updated. If this check box is cleared, the actual attendance data is generated but the attendance balances are not updated.

Period

The entity based on which the actual attendance data is generated.

Allowed values

Open Attendance Periods: The attendance is generated for the attendance periods with the Status set to Open.
Period: The attendance is generated for the specific period of the year, for the employee group.
Date: The attendance is generated for the specified range of dates and employees.

Period

Employee Group: The code of the employee group for which the actual attendance data is generated.
Note: This field is enabled and you must specify a value only if the Period field is set to Period.
Period Table Code: The code of the period table associated with the employee group for which the actual attendance data is generated.
Note: This field is enabled and you must specify a value only if the Period field is set to Period.
Year: The year for which the actual attendance data is generated.
Note: This field is enabled and you must specify a value only if the Period field is set to Period.
Period Number: The period of the year for which the actual attendance data is generated.
Note: This field is enabled and you must specify a value only if the Period field is set to Period and Employee Group is specified.

Date

Date: The From and To fields define a range of: dates for which the actual attendance data is generated.
Note: This field is enabled and you must specify a value only if the Period field is set to Date.
Employee: The From and To fields define a range of: employees for which the actual attendance data is generated.
