Create Import Program (daxch0227m000)

The import program can only be created if all relations on table and field level are defined. To use an exchange scheme, all the data of the sessions you have specified with information must be gathered. The data must be placed into one program script and compiled into an executable object. The Create Import Programs (daxch0227m000) session does all of that for import scripts.

To print the actual data that is contained in the ASCII file to be imported, you can use the Print ASCII File (daxch0202m000) session. This ensures you, for example, that separators are correct and to verify whether any data must be converted.

To create an import program:

  1. Specify the range of exchange schemes and batches for which you want to create import programs.
  2. Select or clear the compile options check boxes.
