Import module
To exchange data between two LN
companies, you export the LN data to ASCII
files, and then import the data into the LN
database.
Exchange can use the same master data information for import as for export, because the ASCII file format must be the same.
If you must modify data during an import, you can use a conversion. The Exchange module includes three options:
- Condition scripts
- Conversion tables
- Constant values
You can include a formula with the script to calculate new values based on the contents of the ASCII file or data from other LN tables.
