Manually adding an API role

  1. Start the API Roles (ttmtm6145m000) session.
  2. Click New and specify this information:
    Role
    Specify the name of the role.
    Description
    Specify a description for the role.
    Allow Switch Identity
    Select this check box only if API identities using this role should be able to switch to another API identity. If this check box is selected, you must create a whitelist that contains the target API identities.

  3. Click Save.
Note: You can now define the route authorizations for the role. See Specifying route authorizations for an API role.
