User-related procedures

The User Management module contains the procedures for authorizing employees to use LN.

With these procedures, you can:

  • Create LN users.
  • Maintain the user’s developer authorizations.

Procedure result

After you have completed the procedures, the user can start LN, use the Menu Browser, and start sessions. Developers have the correct development authorizations. The LN user also has database-level permissions that can be restricted using LN ’s Authorization Management System (AMS).

Prerequisites

  • The roles and templates to which you can link the normal users are already defined.
  • The development-environment data for the developers must be defined.
