Redline Files (dmdoc4540m00r)

Use this session to comment or in other words, redline a file. When user selects redline, a new redline version of the file is created.

All redline operations are performed from the Document Revision session or the Attached File session, using the Redline File option.

Note: You can only apply redlining to files attached to document revisions with the status Submitted and not to files attached to Light documents.
Library

The library ID that acts as an identifier.

Library Description

The description or name of the code.

Document

The document ID.

Document Title

The description or name of the code.

Type

The document type.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Revision

The revision of the document.

Status

The document revision status.

Secondary Status

Additional status of the document. Secondary status is Customized status, which you can define based on the needs of an individual company.

Area

The area that points to the location of the file.

Full Path

The directory in which the file is stored.

Checked In / Checked Out

The status of the attached file to determine whether the file is with Checked Out or Checked In status. The Checked-Out files exist in the work area, and the Checked-In files exist in the vault area.

If a file is attached to a document revision, the file is initially located in a work area and, by default, the file has the status Checked Out.

File Version

The version of the file.

Redline Version

The redline version of the file. The value appears if the user provides comments to a Checked-In file.

File Type

The file type.

File Extension

The file extensions associated with file type.

File Name

The name of the file to be redlined.

Area

The location of the file.

Source Version

The source or origin of the file to be redlined.

File Revision

The details of the file revision for a new file to be redlined.

Check Out Date

The check out date and time details for the redlined file.

Checked Out By

The name of the person who checked out the redlined file.

Actual File Size (Bytes)

The actual file size in bytes of the redlined file.

Vault File Size

The vault file size details for the redlined file.

Date Modified

Enter the date on which the file was modified or redlined.
