Libraries (dmsys0540m000)

Use this session to maintain library.

Libraries enable you to define a collection of related objects and classification of documents. These objects can themselves be libraries. You can also assign vault areas through libraries.

Library: The library ID. The ID can be generated either by object masks, or can be manually entered by the user if the object masks are not specified.
Description: The description of the library.
Family Profile: The object family associated with the library.

Note: If you start this session from Document Management -> Documents menu, the Family Profile option is not displayed. If you start the session in another way, the Family Profile option is available for editing and the user can browse and choose a family from the Object Families (dmsys1512m000) session.
