Use this session to rebuild the inventory quantities for selected warehouses and items.

- Correct On Hand Inventory based on Inventory Receipt Transactions

If this check box is selected, the inventory on hand present in the Warehouse - Item Inventory (whwmd2515m000) session is rebuilt based on the quantity be to consumed present in the Inventory Receipt Transactions (whina1512m000) session.
If this check box is cleared, the inventory on hand present in the Warehouse - Item Inventory (whwmd2515m000) session is not changed.
However, the inventory on hand is also rebuilt based on open order data such as receipts, inbound or outbound advice, shipments, and so on. This calculated quantity is the minimum quantity on hand regardless of the setting of this check box.
- Allow Automatic Processing of Adjustment Orders

If this check box is selected, adjustment orders are automatically created and processed to balance the inventory receipt transactions present in the Inventory Receipt Transactions (whina1512m000) session with the Warehouse - Item Inventory (whwmd2515m000) session.
To balance the inventory receipt transactions with the order data, it may be required to insert missing receipt transactions. This is done by automatically creating and processing adjustment orders. For example, if 100 items A are present in the Inventory Receipt Transactions (whina1512m000) session, but 150 items A are allocated to outbound order data, such as outbound order lines, shipment lines and so on, adjustment orders are created and processed to insert new receipt transactions to balance the difference of 50 items A.
If this check box is cleared, the inventory is not rebuilt if adjustment orders are required as shown in the previous example, but a message appears saying that adjustment is required and showing by how much the inventory receipt transaction quantity differs from the expected quantity. This can be regarded as trial run, thus you know how much inventory is to be adjusted, before actually rebuilding the inventory.
Because inserting inventory receipt transactions impacts the financially registered inventory value, you may consider rebuilding the inventory without selecting this check box first.

- Reason for Adjustment

The code of the reason for the inventory adjustment.
Note: Reasons for which approval is required are unavailable in the zoom session. This is because approvals would interrupt the automatic processing of adjustments. - Location

If the rebuilt quantity of a location controlled item is larger than the existing quantity, the difference is automatically added to the correction location.
For example, item A is location controlled. Before correction, 10 items A are present in pick location X and 15 items A in bulk location Z. If the correction result is 34 items A, 9 items A are put in the correction location.
The correction location is manually inserted. If it is not present in the system, it is generated during the rebuild process. By default, the correction location is of type Bulk and it is blocked for inbound and outbound movements. After the rebuild process is completed, you can use adjustment orders to store the items in the required locations.
You are recommended to always use the same correction location, because LN only recognizes the correction location defined in the current run. LN regards correction locations from previous correction runs as regular locations. If the inventory must be decreased during a particular correction run, LN first reduces the inventory from the correction location. If the required reduction exceeds the quantity on the correction location, inventory is decreased from the other locations, without reducing any inventory from the previous correction locations first.
- Lot

If the rebuilt quantity of a lot controlled item is larger than the existing quantity, the difference is automatically added to the correction lot.
For example, item A is lot controlled. Before correction, 10 items A are present in lot X and 15 items A in lot Z. If the correction result is 34 lot items A, 9 items A are put in the correction lot.
The correction lot is manually inserted. If it is not present in the system, it is generated during the rebuild process. After the rebuild process is completed, you can use adjustment orders to store the items in the required lots.
You are recommended to always use the same correction lot, because LN only recognizes the correction lot defined in the current run. LN regards correction lots from previous correction runs as regular lots. If the rebuilt quantity of a project warehouse is more than the existing quantity, LN adds the difference in quantity to this correction project.
Example: Warehouse P is a project warehouse. Before correction, 10 items A are present in warehouse P for project X and 15 items A in warehouse W for project Z. If the correction result is 34 items A in warehouse P, 9 items A are assigned to the correction project.
Note:The correction project must be an existing project with a status that allows orders to be booked on the project. After the rebuild process is complete, you can use adjustment orders to store the items on the required project.

LN considers correction projects from previous correction runs as regular projects. If the inventory must be decreased during a particular correction run, LN decreases the inventory from the correction project. - Print Inventory Structure

If this check box is selected, LN prints both the Check and Repair Inventory Structure report and the Check and Repair Inventory report. If this check box is cleared, LN prints only the Check and Repair Inventory report.
The Check and Repair Inventory Structure report prints the inventory quantities before and after correction displaying the data of the Item - Inventory Structure (whinr1550m000) session.
The Check and Repair Inventory report displays the inventory quantities before and after correction of the inventory tables, which are expressed in inventory unit. The related sessions of these tables are:

- Print Only Differences

If this check box is selected, only the differences the between existing inventory and the rebuilt inventory is printed (that is, if there is no difference between the existing quantity and the rebuilt quantity, the item is not printed).
- Suppress Zero Inventory

If this check box is selected, Items without inventory in both existing and rebuilt inventory are not printed. This option is not available if the Print Only Differences check box is selected.
- Print Basic Report

If this check box is selected, the information of the check and repair inventory report is printed but the attributes of the printed quantities are printed on a single line separated by the pipe (|) sign to allow easy export to a spreadsheet for analysis.
