Print Labels (whwmd5430m100)

Use this session to print labels for the following:

  • Handling units
  • Received Items
  • Items to be shipped

The fields displayed in the session depend on the entity from where the session is started. For more information, refer to Print receipt and shipment labels without handling units and Label layout and printing.

Additional information fields

If additional information fields are available for the handling unit, outbound order line or shipment line for which labels are printed, the descriptions of the additional information fields are also printed.

Note: 

  • You can print the labels for items received and for items to be shipped even when the handling units are used for some items only.

  • Labels are not printed for additional cost lines on a shipment.

The From and To fields define a range of: handling unit.

Ship-from Type

The From and To fields define a range of: ship-from type.

Ship-from

The From and To fields define a range of: ship-from code.

Ship-to Type

The From and To fields define a range of: ship-to type.

The From and To fields define a range of: ship-to code.

Owner

The From and To fields define a range of: owners.

Print Labels of Handling Unit

Indicates the basis for printing the handling units' labels.

  • Range
  • Structure
Label Structure Part(s) to Print
Label Structure Part(s) to Print

The part of the handling-unit structure that must be printed. You can only specify the handling unit structure part to be printed if the Print Labels of Handling Unit field's value is Structure.

  • Bottoms
Label Printing Settings
Label Printed by

LN allows you to specify the application that must be used to print the labels for the defined layout.

Allowed values

Infor LN

The labels are printed by LN.

External application

The labels are printed by an external application.

Note: 

You can view this field only if packaging level BOD is implemented.

Default value of this field is Infor LN.

The value External application is not applicable when the packaging label BOD is not implemented.

Label Layout

The label layout according to which the handling units must be printed.

Copies

The number of copies of the label that must be printed.

Handling Units Only

If this check box is selected, the labels are printed for the items that use handling units.

Label Printing Method

You can print the labels based on the following options:

  • By Line: Labels are printed by line.
  • By Unit: Labels are printed for each unit on the line.

Print to predefined Device

If this check box is selected, the application selects a default printer to print the report or document. The use of default printers depends on the setup. For more information, refer to Default printers.

Note: By default, this check box is selected.
Order
Inventory Inspection

If this check box is selected, labels are printed for handling units related to inventory inspections.

Inspection

The inventory inspections that contain the handling units for which labels are to be printed.

Sequence

The sequence numbers of the inventory inspections that contain the handling units for which labels are to be printed.
