Validation Lines (whwmd1151m000)
Use this session to view and maintain the validation lines of a shipment validation rule.
Field Information
- Rule

The ID code of the shipment validation rule.
- Description

The description or name of the code.
- Line
-
The number of the validation line. For every new line, the number is increased by 10.
If two validation lines are linked in a parent-child fashion, the parent and the child line have the same line number. The child line has sequence number 1 and for the parent line, the Children Present check box is selected.
- Sequence

The sequence number of the validation line.
If two validation lines are linked in a parent-child fashion, the parent and the child line have the same line number. The child line has sequence number 1 and for the parent line, the Children Present check box is selected.

The description or name of the code.
- Table

The database tables from which to select the field that is to be validated or the field from whose reference table the field to be validated must be selected.

The type of check that must be performed for the target field to validate the shipment.

Checks whether the field ends with the value specified in the Constant Value field.

Checks whether the value of the field equals the value specified in the Constant Value field.

Checks whether the value of the field is different from the value specified in the Constant Value field.

Checks whether the field contains an alphanumeric value.

Checks whether the field matches the number of positions specified in the Length field.

- Handling Unit Level

The level of the handling unit structure that must be validated.
- Active

If this check box is selected, the validation line is available, unless it is not yet effective or past expiry according to the effective and expiry dates.
- Blocking

If this check box is selected, a shipment cannot be confirmed if validation against the current validation line is unsuccessful.
The validation errors must be corrected before shipment confirmation is allowed.
If this check box is cleared, unsuccessful validation against the current validation line results in a warning message. If required, the shipment can be confirmed without correcting the validation error.

- Effective Date

The date by which the current validation line becomes available for use.
- Expiry Date

The date by which the current validation line is no longer available.
- Children Present

If this check box is selected, the current validation line has a child validation line.

The date of the most recent modification of the current validation line.
