Planning Priority Rules (whinh6122m000)
Use this session to maintain planning priority rules.
To add rules to a definition, complete the following steps:
- Click the LN enters '1' in the Rule field, identifying the first condition. button.
- Select appropriate values for the following fields as
required:
- Priority Field
- Type of Order
- Field Value
- From Value
- To Value
- Time Unit
- Priority Factor
- Priority Constant
- Repeat the previous steps for any other rules that you wish to define.

- Priority Field

The order field for which this rule is applicable.
Note: If you select Not Applicable, the rule applies to all order types that have no specific rule for a field. - Type of Order

The order origin for which this rule is applicable.
Note: If you select Not Applicable, the rule applies to all orders that have no specific rule for a field. - Field Value

The value of the specified field for which this rule is applicable.
- From Value

The lower value of the specified field for which this rule is applicable.
- To Value

The upper value of the specified field for which this rule is applicable.
- Time Unit

The unit in which the field value range is expressed.
- Priority Factor

The factor with which the field value related to the field range is multiplied.
Note:This field is only available if Priority Field is set to one of the following:
- Order Priority
- Customer Priority
- Time Remaining
- Lateness
- Order Quantity
- Priority Constant

The constant that is added as a base priority for this rule.
