Confirm Outbound ASN (whinh4230m100)
Use this session to confirm outbound advance shipment notices. You can also use this session to cancel and resend EDI messages.
If you confirm an outbound ASN, the ASN obtains the Confirmed status and LN prepares a message in EDI so that the message can be generated and sent. Prepared messages are stored in the Messages to be Generated (ecedi7100m000) session.
Note that you can only confirm outbound ASNs with EDI status Prepare or Modify for shipments that have status Confirmed.
To confirm outbound ASNs, use the fields in the Selection Range group box to select the shipments for which to confirm the ASNs and click .

The From and To fields define a range of: carriers for which the outbound ASN must be confirmed.
- Cancel EDI Messages

If this check box is selected, a new message with the EDI Status set to Canceled is prepared in the Messages to be Generated (ecedi7100m000) session.
When an EDI cancellation is sent, the Allow Changes to Shipment check box in the Shipments (whinh4130m000) session is enabled. When new shipment lines are added and the shipment is again confirmed, a new revised EDI message is prepared.
Note: The Cancel EDI Messages check box is enabled for shipments for which the EDI Status in the Shipments (whinh4130m000) session is set to Sent. - Resend EDI Messages

If this check box is selected, a new message is prepared in the Messages to be Generated (ecedi7100m000) session. The EDI Status in the Shipments (whinh4130m000) session which is set to Sent is ignored in order to prepare the new message to be generated.
Note: The Resend EDI Messages check box is enabled for shipments for which the EDI Status in the Shipments (whinh4130m000) session is set to Sent.
