Field Information

Usage

This field indicates whether you can use the sort field on the (inbound) storage list or the (outbound) picking list.

If the sort field can be used on both inbound and outbound lists, it must be entered twice.

Table Field

A field of one of several tables.

These fields can be used to specify the sort order for the picking list in the Generate Picking List (whinh4415m000) session or the sort order for the storage list in the Generate Storage List (whinh3415m000) session.

Sort Field for Automatic Printing

If this check box is selected, the table field is included in storage lists or picking lists that are printed automatically. Warehousing procedures determine whether storage lists or picking lists are printed automatically or by user intervention.

After you select this check box, the following fields become available:

• Sort Sequence
• Descending
• New Mission

Sort Sequence

The priority that this sort field takes in sorting the values in the report. For example, if sort field Item has sort sequence 1 and sort field Location has sort sequence 2, the items on the report are first sorted by item and then by location.

This field is available if the Sort Field for Automatic Printing check box is selected.

Descending

If this check box is selected, the sort order of the fields on the storage list or picking list is descending.

This field is available if the Sort Field for Automatic Printing check box is selected.

New Mission

If this check box is selected, a new storage mission (inbound) or picking mission (outbound) is generated for each occurrence of the value of the Table Field field. For example, if for a storage list the table field has the value Ship-to Location, a new storage mission is created for each location that is in the selection range.

This field is available if the Sort Field for Automatic Printing check box is selected.
