Top Slow-Moving Items (whina8350m000)
Use this Context Application to view the items with the highest slow-moving inventory value resulting from a slow-moving analysis by warehouse.
The slow moving inventory value is calculated as follows:
Inventory on hand * valuation price * slow-moving percentage
Note: For each item in the warehouse, a slow-moving analysis adds
up the actual issues over the last year and divides the outcome by the inventory on hand. The resulting value, called turnover rate, is compared with the slow-moving percentages specified in the Inventory Analysis Parameters (whina0100m000) session. An item obtains the first
slow-moving percentage from the Inventory Analysis Parameters (whina0100m000) session that is greater than the
slow-moving speed of the item. In this way, the items are classified into ten
categories, for which the best category has the highest ratio of actual
issue/inventory on hand and therefore the lowest slow-moving percentage.
Example
- The turnover rate is 0.5, which corresponds to a slow moving percentage of 90%
- The inventory on hand is 1000 pcs
- The valuation price is 2.5 EUR
Slow moving inventory value = 1000 * 2.5 * 0.9 = 2250 EUR
The slow-moving inventory value is displayed in the company's reference currency. The company's internal exchange-rate type is used.
If you double-click a bar for an item, the Warehouse - Item Inventory (whwmd2515m000) session is started.
