Cancel Work Order (tswcs2260m000)
Use this session to cancel work orders or work order activities. For example, you cancel a work order because you cannot carry out the repair. At the same time, you must cancel the related work order activities, the warehouse orders, the allocated material resources, and the allocated tools for a canceled work order. You can enter a cancel text, which is the reason for canceling a work order.
You cannot cancel work orders directly if costs are booked in Financials or if a purchase order is created for the work order. You can initiate the cancelation of these work orders. The Initiate Cancelation check box must be selected in the Work Orders (tswcs2100m000) session. The work order is canceled after the work order is closed in the Close Work Orders (tswcs2265m000) session.
You cannot cancel work orders if:
- The work order is an initiating work order.
- The work order is derived from a maintenance sales order.
If you cancel a work order, the work order status must be:
- Planned
- Released
- Completed
- Signed-Off
