Locations (tswcs0125m000)
Use this session to list and maintain locations.
- If you assign a location to both a service department and a work order, the service department of the location and the service department of the work order must be the same.
- You cannot assign a location to a closed work order.
- You cannot delete a location that is assigned to a work order.

The code used to identify the service department in which the location is situated.
The shop and work center locations that belong to the service department are used to store the following:
- Incoming parts in a shop or a work center that are waiting to be processed. For these parts, a receipt location is specified.
- Parts to be delivered after they are processed in a shop or a work center. For these parts, a delivery location is specified.

If this check box is selected, the location can be used for a single work order.
If this check box is cleared, the location is available for general use.
- Work Order

Select the work order for which the location is used. You can specify more than one location for a work order.
Work order locations are used to store incoming and outgoing items, as well as disassembled parts that must be processed to be assembled.
