Available Capacity (tsspc4120m000)
Use this session to define available capacity details of a service engineer.
Field Information
- General
-
- Territory Planning
-
The unique ID of the available capacity.
- Description
-
The description or name of the code.
- Sequence
-
The sequence number of the available capacity.
- Resource
-
- Resource
-
The resource type for which available capacity is defined.
Allowed values
- Employee
-
Define employee code and the employee name.
- Simulation
-
LN counts the existing simulation resources and enters a value adding 1 that is more than the existing number.
Note:LN displays a warning message if an existing employee or an existing simulation user is used.
By default, this field is set to simulation.
- Employee Number
-
The unique id of the selected employee.
Note: This field is enabled only if the Resource field is set to employee. - Employee Name
-
The name of the employee.
Note: This field is enabled only if the Resource field is set to employee.
- Capacity
-
- Capacity
-
The method to determine the capacity of the service engineer.
Allowed values
- From Employee Calendar
- Manually
Note:You can determine the capacity manually only if Resource field is set to Simulation.
You can determine capacity from employee calendar only if the Resource field is set to Employee
- Calendar
-
The employee calendar.
Note:To define an employee calendar, you can use the Employees - General (tccom0101m000) session.
This field is displayed only if Capacity field is set to employee calendar.
- Description
-
The description or name of the code.
- Availability Type
-
The code of the availability type.
- Description
-
The description or name of the code.
- Employee Calendar Range
-
The range of dates using which you can plan the capacity of the service engineer. This field is displayed only if Capacity field is set to employee calendar.
- Employee Calendar Range
-
The range of dates using which you can plan the capacity of the service engineer. This field is displayed only if Capacity field is set to employee calendar.
- Capacity (Days)
-
The number of days the resource is available within the current territory plan.
Note: This field is enabled only if the Capacity field is set to manually. - Unit
-
The unit in which the capacity is expressed.
- Working Time per Day
-
The working time of the engineer.
- Unit
-
The unit in which the working time is expressed.
- Capacity
-
The total available capacity of the service engineer.
Note: If you set the Capacity field to Manually, LN calculates the capacity by multiplying the Capacity (Days) with the Working Time per Day. If you set the Capacity to From Employee Calendar, LN calculates the capacity from the Employee’s calendar along with the availability type and the range of dates from the territory planning header. - Unit
-
The unit in which the capacity is expressed.
- Location of Resource
-
- Location of Resource
-
The address where the resource is located.
Note: If the capacity type is “Employee”, then LN will default this with the address code from the employee. If that cannot be determined, LN default from the address of the service department that employee belongs to. - Employee Address
-
The address of the employee.
- Employee Address
-
The address of the employee.
- Employee Address
-
The address of the employee.
- Use Reference Point
-
If this check box is selected, reference point is considered for the capacity calculation.
- Fixed Center of Gravity
-
If this check box is selected, and a reference point is available with correct GPS coordinates, LN considers this reference point as the calculation points for all calculations. If this check box is selected, and reference point is not defined the GPS coordinates are determined randomly within the area of all required capacities and the first calculation point is considered as the calculation point for all subsequent calculations.
Note:This field is enabled only if the Use Reference Point check box is selected.
If this check box is not selected, LN changes the calculation point to balance the available and required capacity.
- GPS Latitude (WGS84)
-
The latitude GPS coordinate of the reference point.
Note:This field is enabled only if the Use Reference Point check box is selected.
- GPS Longitude (WGS84)
-
The longitude GPS coordinate of the reference point.
Note:This field is enabled only if the Use Reference Point check box is selected.
- Territory
-
- Territory
-
The territory of the resource.
- Description
-
The description or name of the code.
- Calculated Capacity
-
- Workload (Based on Location)
-
The total workload based on location assigned to the current capacity.
- Workload (Based on Center of Gravity)
-
The total workload based on gravity assigned to the current capacity.
- Travel Time (Based on Location)
-
The total travel time based on location of the resource assigned to the service engineer.
Note: In case the location of the resource is not defined, the field takes the value '0'. - Travel Time (Based on Center of Gravity)
-
The total travel time assigned to the service engineer. If the "Fixed" check box is selected and a reference point is specified, LN calculates the travel time from the reference point.
- Free Capacity (Based on Location)
-
The calculated free capacity of the service engineer.
Free Capacity = Available Capacity - Assigned Workload - Travel Time.
- Free Capacity (Based on Center of Gravity)
-
The calculated free capacity of the service engineer.
Free Capacity = Available Capacity - Assigned Workload - Travel Time.
