Group for Service Orders (tsspc3600m000)

Use this session to review and maintain the group planning data of a specific service order.

The tabs refer to the following sessions:

Note: The Plan Groups and Activity Sets option is displayed only if the Planned by Origin check box is cleared on the Service Orders tab in the Resource Planning Parameters (tsspc0101m000) session.

Field Information

Group

The unique ID of the group.

Frozen

If this check box is selected, the group is frozen and you cannot add new activity sets to the existing groups.

Firm Planned

If this check box is selected, the group is firm planned and you cannot change the start and finish date of the group.

Keep Sequence of Activity Sets

If this check box is selected, LN does not change the sequence of the activity sets when the specified group is planned.

Sort Method

The sorting method for service order activities in an activity set.

Latest Finish
Latest Start
Planned Start
Planned Finish
Allocated Resource

The engineers assigned to the specified group. Assigned engineers are copied from group planning to the service order activity.

Check Resources for Skills

If this check box is selected, LN allocates resources for service orders, based on skills.

Check Resources for Attribute Values

If this check box is selected, LN allocates resources for service orders based on attribute values.

Check Resources for Availability

If this check box is selected, LN checks availability of resources for service order.

Minimum Availability Percentage

The minimum availability percentage of the resource for the allocation.

Planned Start Time

The earliest start date and time of all activities in the specified group.

Planned Finish Time

The latest finish date and time of all activities in the specified group.

Plan Method

The method to plan the service order activities.

Planning Based on Route
Distance Calculation Method

The method used to recalculate distance.

Allowed values

Crow Based

The distance is calculated "as the crow flies" and from this distance the travel time is calculated with the information of the average travel speed towards the location of serialized item.

Road Based Distance Only

The distance is calculated with the type of website you select in the provider field in the Service Planning Parameters (tsspc0100m000) session.

Road Based Distance and Travel Time

The distance and the travel time are calculated with the type of website you select in the provider field in the Service Planning Parameters (tsspc0100m000) session

Start Address of Route

The address of the starting point of the route.

At First Activity
At Company Address
At Department Address
At Employee Home Address
Note: This field is enabled only if the Plan Method field is set to Planning Based on Route.
Average Travel Speed

The average travel speed used to calculate travel time when planning a route.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Plan Method field is set to Planning Based on Route.
Unit

The unit in which the average travel speed is expressed.

Travel Offset Time

The time used to calculate travel time when planning a route.

Note: This field is applicable only if plan method is set to Planning based on route.
Start Travelling on Start Time

If this check box is selected, the engineer must start travelling to the location, where the activity must be performed, at the Planned Start Time specified for a service order. If this check box is cleared, the engineer must travel to the location in advance and start working on the activity at the specified Planned Start Time.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Plan Method is set to Planning Based on Route.
Time Duration Unit

The unit in which the travel offset time is expressed.

Respect Earliest Start Time

If this check box is selected, LN considers the earliest start time to plan the service order activities.

Note: For a service order activity, the planned start time must not be planned after the earliest start time.
Respect Latest Finish Time

If this check box is selected, LN considers the latest finish time to plan the planned activities. The Planned Finish Time cannot be planned after the Latest Finish Time. The service order activity is not planned.

Note: LN re-plans the route for the activity.
Respect Material Availability Date

If this check box is selected, LN considers the Material Availability Date specified for the service orders in the Resource Planning Parameters (tsspc0101m000) session, to schedule the service order activities in a Group.

Note: 
  • This field is visible only if the Check Material Availability check box in the Service Order Parameters (tssoc0100m000) session or the Check Material Availability check box in the Work Order Parameters (tswcs0100m000) session is selected.
  • This field is disabled if the Firm Planned check box is selected.
