Release Plan (tsspc3240m000)

Use this session to release an existing group planning. You can release a complete group planning or select the groups and activities that must be released.

Level

The group planning level to be released.

Allowed values

Group: This option deletes a group or more than one group. The groups and activities of the selected groups are deleted.
Activity set: This option deletes the activity sets of the selected group.
Activity: This option deletes the activities of the selected group.

Group

The From and To fields define a range of: groups that must be released.

Activity Set Sequence

The From and To fields define a range of: activity sets in a group that must be released.

Planned Start Time

The From and To fields define a range of: the planned start time of the activities that must be released.

Planned Finish Time

The From and To fields define a range of: the planned finish time of the activities that must be released.

Options

Simulate: If this check box is selected, LN runs the release process in simulation mode. The results are not saved in the database. This process enables you to review the results before releasing the selected groups and activities.
Keep Existing Assignments for Service Orders: If this check box is selected, LN does not overwrite the existing assignments for service orders.

Note: This field is enabled only when the Activity Origin field is set to Service Order.
Keep Existing Assignments for Work Orders: If this check box is selected, LN does not overwrite the existing assignments for work orders.

Note: This field is enabled only when the Use Assignments in Work Orders check box is selected in the Work Order Parameters (tswcs0100m000) session.
Keep Existing Assignments for Projects: If this check box is selected, LN does not overwrite the existing assignments for project.

Note: This field is enabled only when the Use Assignments check box is selected in the Project Planning Parameters (tppss0100s000) session.
Keep Existing Assignments for Job Shop Orders: If this check box is selected, LN does not overwrite the existing assignments for the job shop orders.

Note: This field is applicable only if the Group Planning for Job Shop Orders Implemented check box is selected in the Resource Planning Parameters (tsspc0101m000) session.
Keep Existing Assignments for Projects (PCS): If this check box is selected, LN does not overwrite the existing assignments for the Projects (PCS).

Note: This field is applicable only if the Group Planning for Projects (PCS) Implemented check box is selected in the Resource Planning Parameters (tsspc0101m000) session.
Only Release if Group has an Allocated Resource: If this check box is selected, LN releases the group planning only if the group has allocated resources.
Only Release if Group has been planned: If this check box is selected, LN releases the group planning only if the group has been planned.

Note: By default, this check box is cleared and cannot be modified if the From Activity Origin field and the To Activity Origin field are set to the same origin, and the Planned by Origin check box is selected for that origin, in the Resource Planning Parameters (tsspc0101m000) session.
Delete Released Groups: If this check box is selected, LN deletes the selected groups after the release process.
Delete Released Activity Sets: If this check box is selected, LN deletes the selected activity sets after the release process.
Delete Released Activities: If this check box is selected, LN deletes the released activities after the release process.

Print Options

Process Report: If this check box is selected, LN generates process report. The report contains details of all activities that are released.
Error Report: If this check box is selected, LN generates error report. This report contains details of all warnings and errors that occurred during the release process.
