Generate Maintenance Plan (tsspc2200m000)

Use this session to generate maintenance plans for a range of serialized items.

Note:

You can generate maintenance plans for the serialized items only if:
- The Generate Planned Activities check box is selected in the Serialized Items (tscfg2100m000) session for the serialized items.
- A maintenance scenario is assigned to the serialized items.
- The status of the serialized item is set to Active, Working Condition or Defective.
The start date for the serialized items is equal to the effective date of the Serialized Items (tscfg2100m000) session. The effective date is the installation time of the serialized item and if it is not filled then it is the delivery time and if the delivery time is also not filled then it is creation time of the serialized item.
The serialized item's start value is equal to the planned dependent value that you defined for the serialized item in the Planned Activities (tsspc2100m000) session.

Field Information

Selection Range

Use the fields in the Selection Range group box to specify the range of data for which the maintenance plans must be generated.

Owner

The From and To fields define a range of: the sold-to business partners specified for the serialized item.

In Use-by Business Partner

The From and To fields define a range of: the in use-by business partners.

The From and To fields define a range of: the installation groups.

Service Item Group

The From and To fields define a range of: the service item groups.

Serialized Item Group

Use Horizon

If this check box is selected, you can specify the time period during which the maintenance plans are generated.

Period

The number of time periods for which the maintenance plans are generated.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Use Horizon check box is selected.

Period Unit

The unit in which the Period is expressed.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Use Horizon check box is selected.

From Date

The planned activities can be generated from this date.

Note:

By default, the current system date is used.
You can set this value to a date before the current date only if the Generate Planned Activities in the Past Allowed check box is selected in the Service Planning Parameters (tsspc0100m000) session.

To Date

The planned activities can be generated up to this date.

Note:

This field is enabled only if the Use Horizon check box is cleared. You must set the field to a date greater than the From Date.
If the Use Horizon check box is selected, the value in this field is derived as follows: To Date = From Date + Horizon Period

Ignore "Planned Until Time"

If this check box is selected, the activities are planned irrespective of the planned time.

Note:

The planned activities can be duplicated if Ignore Planned Until Time check box is selected in Planned Activities (tsspc2100m000) session.

The Ignore planned until time check box can be selected only in exceptional cases. The maintenance procedure can be changed in a running system where you can add activities in the already planned time frame and duplicate the required original plan.

Only Generate Maintenance Plan for Active Contract Period

If this check box is selected, for each serialized item within the specified range, the following is applicable:

Based on the From Date, the application searched for an active contract for the serialized item. If not available, planned activities are not generated.
In case an active contract exists and if the To Date is after the contract end date, the To Date is defaulted with the contract end data.

Start Maintenance Cycle

The options to initiate the maintenance cycle.

Allowed values

Start Date of Serialized Item: The application considers the priorities defined in the planning parameters to determine the start date for the maintenance cycle.
Time from in Selection Range: The application considers the From Date to start the maintenance cycle for the serialized item.
1st of January: The application considers the 1st January of the year specified in the From Date to start the maintenance cycle for the serialized item.

Note:

This field is enabled and applicable only if:
- The Type of Scenario is set to Time Based Only or Time Based and Usage Based.
- The maintenance scenario line is of the type Time Based or Time Based Pattern.
By default, this field is set to Start Date of Serialized Item.

Time Based Activities

The setting to generate the maintenance plans for the time based activities.

Allowed values

Keep the existing Plan: The planned activities that are already created for the selected serialized items are not deleted and the application generates the maintenance plans after the finish date of the last planned activity. This date is specified as the Planned Until Time in the Serialized Items (tscfg2100m000) session.
Regenerate the existing Plan: The application first deletes the open planned activities created for the selected serialized items from the From Date specified in the Generate Maintenance Plan (tsspc2200m000) session and generates the maintenance plans once again.

Usage Based Activities

The setting to generate the maintenance plans for the usage based activities.

Allowed values

Keep the existing Plan: The planned activities that are already created for the selected serialized items are not deleted and the application generates the maintenance plans after the finish date of the last planned activity. This date is specified as the Planned Until Time in the Serialized Items (tscfg2100m000) session.
Regenerate the existing Plan: The application first deletes the open planned activities created for the selected serialized items from the From Date specified in the Generate Maintenance Plan (tsspc2200m000) session and generates the maintenance plans once again.

Simulate

If this check box is selected, the generation of the maintenance plans is only simulated and no real planned activities are created.

Process Report

If this check box is selected, a process report is generated with the updated values when the process execution is successful.

Note: The application selects and disables this check box if the Simulate check box is selected.

Error Report

If this check box is selected, an error report is generated with the details of the error when the process execution fails.

Information Report

If this check box is selected, the plan information report is printed.
