Release Rental Orders (tssoc2200m100)
Use this session to to release the selected rental orders.
Note: You can access this session only if the Equipment as a Service check
box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
Field Information
- Selection Range
- Use the fields in the Selection Range group box to specify the range of release rental order.
- Options

- Check Skills
- If this check box is selected, the
application checks if the assigned engineer has the required skills to operate the
equipment.Note:
- By default, this check box is selected.
- LN checks for the skills defined in the Required Skills by Activity (tstdm2111m000) session.
- Check Operators
- Indicates if assignments are linked to the
rental order.Note:
- By default, this check box is selected.
- This field is displayed only if the Assignments are Mandatory check box is cleared in the Service Order Parameters (tssoc0100m000) session.
- Copy Estimates to Actuals (Other Costs)
- If this check box is selected, the estimated costs of the rental order are copied to the actual costs when the rental order is released.
- Check Project Status
- If this check box is selected, the status of the project linked to the rental order is checked.
- Check Service Kit Allocation
- If this check box is selected, the allocation
of the service kit is checked.Note: By default, this check box is selected.
- Calculate Rental Usage
- If this check box is selected, the
actual quantity is determined and set on the new actual resource rental usage
line.Note: By default, this check box is cleared.
- Check Capacity Availability
- If this check box is selected, the availability of the equipment is checked.
- Release Orders with Status Free
- If the check box is selected, the rental orders with the status set to Free and Plannedcan be released. If this check box is cleared, you can only release the orders with the status set to Plannedcan be released.
- Set Actual On Hire Date
- If this check box is selected, the
current system date and time is set as the On Hire date for
the released rental order. Note: By default, this check box is cleared.
- Rental Agreements Only
- If this check box is selected, the orders
with the rental agreements are released.Note: By default, this check box is cleared.
- External Hire Rental Agreements Only
- IIf this check box is selected, only the
rental orders with rental agreements that have the External Hire check box
selected, are released.Note: By default, this check box is cleared.
- Update Actual Rental Location Address
- If this check box is selected, the actual
rental location address is updated when the rental order is released.Note: By default, this check box is selected.
- Recalculate Prices and Discounts
- Indicates whether the prices and discounts must be recalculated for the rental order.

- Check ATP Inventory
- If this check box is selected, the ATP Inventory
check is performed.Note: The ATP check is only performed, if the Order System is set to Planned in the Items (tcibd0501m000) session and the Include in Enterprise Planning check box is selected in the Warehouses (tcmcs0103s000) session.
- Skip Blocked Inventory
- If this check box is selected, the
blocked quantity is subtracted from the On Hand quantity during the Planned
Inventory check and the On Hand Inventory check.Note: This field is enabled only if the Check Planned Inventory check box or the Check On Hand Inventory check box is selected.
- Check Planned Inventory
- If this check box is selected, the Planned Inventory check is performed for the rental orders to be released.
- Block Releasing of Orders with Shortages
- If this check box is selected, the rental
orders with shortage is blocked for release.Note: This field is enabled only if the Check Planned Inventory check box or the Check On Hand Inventory check box is selected.
- Check On Hand Inventory
- If this check box is selected, the On Hand Inventory check is performed.
- Scope of Inventory Check

Check if the material is available in the warehouse defined on the Material Line (Current Warehouse Only)or in one of the warehouses in the same cluster as the warehouse defined on the Material Line (All Warehouses in Cluster).Note: This field is enabled only if the Check Planned Inventory check box or the Check On Hand Inventory check box is selected.

Checks if the material is available in the warehouse defined on the Material Line.
- Current Warehouse Only

Checks if the material is available in one of the warehouses in the same cluster as the warehouse defined on the Material Line.
- Planning Times for Shortage

- Update Planned Delivery Time of Material Lines
- If this check box is selected, the material line is updated with the latest plan.Inventory Check Status is set to Supply is late or Shortage in the Service Material Availability (tstdm2520m000) session. When this check box is selected, the performed inventory check (ATP Inventory or Planned Inventory) is recalculated after the update.
Note: This field is enabled only if the Check Planned Inventory check box or the Check On Hand Inventory check box is selected. - Update Activities and Orders with Latest Planned Material Line
- If this check box is selected, the Planned Start time
of the orders and the activities of the related material line, are updated with the
latest material availability date of the material lines.Note: This field is enabled only if the Update Planned Delivery Time of Material Lines check box is selected.
- Synchronize Materials with Latest Planned Material Line
- If this check box is selected, the Planned Delivery
time of all material lines belonging to the order or activity are updated with the last
Planned Delivery time of the material lines.Note: This field is enabled only if the Update Activities and Orders with Latest Planned Material Line check box is selected.
- Information Report
- If this check box is selected, the plan information report is printed.
