Dispatch Control (tssoc2105m009)
Use this session to control communication with the field service engineers. This session displays released service orders that are not yet accepted by the assigned engineer.
You can use the Specific menu to:
- Send paging messages to service engineers, either automatically or manually.
- View paging messages sent for a single order in the Service Order Paging Log (tssoc2102m000) session.
- View paging messages sent for all orders in the Service Order Paging Log List (tssoc2503m000) session.
- View pager details in the Pager Data (tsmdm1170m000) session.
- Register the acceptance of an order by a service engineer, and thus stop any automatic paging.
- View service order details in the Service Orders (tssoc2100m000) session.
- View service engineers assigned to an order in the Service Engineer Assignments (tssoc2505m000) session.
- View service engineers' details in the Employees - Service (tsmdm1140m000) session.
Field Information
- Escalation Date/Time

The date and time when the service order becomes a deferred emergency service order.
This field is cleared when the order is accepted.
- Related Service Order

The number used to identify the service order.
- Line Number

The sequence number that enables you to define more than one engineer for a service order.

Note: When pages are sent automatically, LN updates this field. In case of manual paging, you can manually change this field. - Pager / Phone Enabled

If this check box is selected, the service engineer is available for paging.

If this check box is selected, the service order requires paging the service engineer.

If this check box is selected, the service employee must be paged.
appropriate provide two paging methods:
Automatic paging
LN sends the paging message using the value specified in the Paging Interval [min] field.
Manual paging
This method can be required, for example, if the paging server is down, or if you cannot reach an engineer through the common paging system.
- Paging Interval [min]

The period of time in which the engineer is expected to respond to a paging message. After this period, the paging message can be automatically resent.
Default value
The value specified in the Page Response Time [min] field in the Priorities (tcmcs0170m000) session.
Note: To start automatic paging, on the appropriate menu, choose Send Pager, then Automatic. To stop automatic paging, clear the Activate Paging check box. - Last Page Sent
