Calculate Uptime Analysis (tsmdm3400m200)
Use this session to compare the uptime that is promised to a customer on the contract and the actual uptime of a serialized item.
The uptime analaysis indicates the operational performance of the customer installation as per the service contract.
The prime time and down time are considered between the two dates which are calculated as mentioned below.
From Date = The maximum date (Applicable for the uptime term effective date, Serialized item date, Statistical From data entered in the session).
To Date = Minimum (Uptime term expiry date, Statistical To date provided by the user on the session)The uptime is calculated on a percentage basis as follows
Uptime percentage = (Prime time - Total downtime) / Prime time * 100
Prime Time:The calendar difference between the From Date and the To Date.
The calendar and the availability mentioned on the service contract uptime terms are used to calculate the prime time.
Down Time: The time that the serialized item is down between the From Date and To Date.
