Field Information
- Installation Group
-

- Mean Time To Repair (MTTRep)
-
Calculates and prints the Mean time to repair (MTTR) of service installed base between the time range specified. You can select In Hours or In Days to print the Mean Time to Repair.
MTTR = (Downtime due to Service Orders + Downtime due to Maintenance sales orders )/(Number of Service Orders + Number of Maintenance orders)
Note:Downtime due to service orders: All the service orders that are set to the following status are considered:
- completed
- costed
- closed
- posted to history
Downtime due to service orders:
- From a customer call: Downtime is the time difference between the call reported time and the service order execution finish time
- Not from a customer call: Downtime is the time difference between the service execution start time and the service execution finish time.
Downtime due to maintenance sales orders :
- From a customer call: Downtime is the time difference between the call reported time and the delivery time on the maintenance sales order line.
- Not from a customer call: Downtime is the time difference between the receipt time on the maintenance sales order line and the delivery time on the maintenance sales order line.
Only the maintenance sales order lines of the type Part Maintenance are considered.
- Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF)
-
Calculates and prints the mean time between failure. This value is calculated as the average of the time difference between the two successive calls which are transferred to either service order or maintenance sales order. You can select In Hours or In Days to print the Mean Time Between Failure.
MTBF = Cumulative time difference between two successive calls/Number of Calls
- Work In Progress
-
If this check box is selected, the work in process of a serialized item in the given date range is calculated.
Note: WIP calculation considers all pending calls, open service orders, open MSC orders and open work orders (internal and external orders) at the specific time.WIP is calculated as follows:
Total Available Time: The difference between planned finish time and planned start time is the total available time. In case of MSO lines the difference between planned receipt time and planned delivery time is considered.
Finished Work: The difference between the analysis end date and planned start time is the finished work.
Remaining work = Total available time - Total Finished work.
- Include Independent Serials
-
If this check box is selected, LN calculates and prints the Availability, Mean Time To Repair (MTTRep) or Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) of the serialized items that are not linked to any Installation group.
