Rental Unit Conversion Factors (tsmdm0121m000)
Use this session to maintain rental unit conversion factors between the base unit for rental for an item, serialized item group or item group.
Note: This session is only displayed if the Equipment as a Service parameter is selected on the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000)
session.
Field Information
- Item
- The code of the item. The conversion factor is
defined at the item level.Note:
- This field is enabled only if the value in the Serialized Item Group or Item Group field is not specified.
- The item type must be a rental product type.
- Description
- The description of the serialized item.
- Serialized Item Group
- The code of the serialized item group. The
conversion factor is defined at the serialized item group level.Note: This field is enabled only if the value in the Item or Item Group field is not specified.
- Description
- The description of the serialized item group.
- Item Group
- The code of the item group. The conversion factor
is defined at the item group level.Note: This field is enabled only if the value in the Item or Serialized Item Group field is not specified.
- Base Unit
- The base unit in which the rental rate of the item is expressed.
- Rental Unit
- The unit of measure by which the rental item is expressed.
- Conversion Factor
- The conversion factor between the base unit and rental unit.
- Inverse Value
- The inverse value of the conversion factor. Note: This value is calculated as: 1/conversion factor.
Example: If the conversion factor is 12, the inverse value is 0.08333 (1/12).
- Approved
- If this check box is selected, the conversion
factor is approved and released.
To approve a conversion factor, select a line and click
from the menu or click the option. You can also approve multiple conversion factors together. To unapprove a conversion factor, select a line and use the option from the menu.
