Generic Warranty (tsctm5600m000)
Use this session to define a generic warranty for anonymous and serialized items, service types, customer claim lines, service order activities and maintenance sales order lines. You can also define the Currency in which the sales amounts in the coverage/cost lines are expressed and the period for which the warranty is valid. The Effective Date and the Expiry Date determine the time period for which the generic warranty can be used.

If this check box is selected, you can define the period for which the warranty is applicable.
Note: The value in this field cannot be modified if coverage terms are defined for the warranty template. - Period

Note:- The value in this field is defaulted from the Warranty Templates (tsctm0120m000) session when a Warranty Template is defined. However, LN allows you to modify the value in this field.
- This field is mandatory if the Use Period for Serialized Item check box is selected.
- Period Unit

The unit in which the installation period is expressed.
Allowed values
- Week
- The duration of the usage registration is a week or a day.
- Month
- The duration of the usage registration is a month, week, or a day.
- Quarter
- Year
- The duration of the usage registration is a year, month, week, or day.
- Day
- The duration of the usage registration is at least a day.
Note:- The value in this field is defaulted from the Warranty Templates (tsctm0120m000) session when a Warranty Template is defined. However, LN allows you to modify the value in this field.
- This field is mandatory if the Use Period for Serialized Item check box is selected.
