Indexation Percentages (tsctm0161m000)

Use this session to define indexation percentages for every pricing method and term type, for the coverage contracts.

The indexation percentages defined in the template are applied on or after the date specified in the Effective Date field in the Contract Changes (tsctm3120m000) session. When the Type field is set to option Indexation in the is created, LN retrieves the percentages defined in the most recent effective template, for indexation.

Note:

The index percentage can range from -100 to +1000
The fields in the Coverage tab are applicable only when the Pricing Method field is set to Budgeted Service Costs, in the Contract Configuration Lines (tsctm1110m300) session (accessed from the appropriate menu of Service Contracts (tsctm3100m000) session). Coverage terms are not updated for other pricing methods.

Note:

The date of the effective indexation percentages must be less than or equal to the date specified in the Change Effective Date field in the Contract Changes (tsctm3120m000) session.
The fields in the session cannot be modified after the expiry date. The expiry date must fall after the effective date. The default expiry date is 12/31/99, when a new record is created. You can change the date.

Indexation Template

The name or code of the indexation template. Use the indexation template to define the percentages by which the contract amounts must be indexed.

Description

The description of the indexation template.

Effective Date

The date from which the indexation percentages are effective.

Expiry Date

The expiry date of the indexation percentages. The indexation percentages cannot be modified after the expiry date.

Percentages for Updating Configuration Sales Amounts

Update from Contract Price List

If this check box is selected, and the pricing method is set to Installation/Item Pricing in the Contract Configuration Lines (tsctm1110m300) session (accessed from the appropriate menu of the Service Contracts (tsctm3100m000) session), the configuration price is retrieved from the Contract Item Price Lists (tsctm0115m000) session.

Installation Group/Item Pricing

The Installation group/item pricing percentage. If the pricing method is set to Installation/Item Pricing, in the Contract Configuration Lines (tsctm1110m300) session (accessed from the appropriate menu of Service Contracts (tsctm3100m000) session), the percentage specified is used to index the configuration line amounts. The amount is indexed based on the period between the Change Effective Date and the Expiry Date fields in the Contract Changes (tsctm3120m000) session.

Note: The field is enabled only when the check box Update from Contract Price List is not selected. If the Update from Contract Price List check box is selected, the price is retrieved from Contract Item Price Lists (tsctm0115m000) session. The latest price list is retrieved.

Budgeted Service Costs

The Budgeted Service Costs percentage. If the pricing method is set to Budgeted Service Costs, in the Contract Configuration Lines (tsctm1110m300) session (accessed from the appropriate menu of Service Contracts (tsctm3100m000) session), the percentage specified is used to index the configuration line amounts. The percentage specified is used only if all the percentages to update the coverage amounts are set to zero and all the check boxes in the Retrieve Latest Prices from Master Data group box are cleared.

Note:

If one of the following is applicable, LN updates the coverage term amounts. These amounts are cumulated to the configuration line amounts.

Sales Value of Configuration

If the pricing method is set to Sales Value of Configuration, in the Contract Configuration Lines (tsctm1110m300) session, (accessed from the appropriate menu of Service Contracts (tsctm3100m000) session), the percentage specified is used to index the configuration line amounts.

Percentages for Updating Coverage Amounts

All Term Types: The percentage for indexation applied to all the coverage terms.
Material: The percentage applied to the coverage term type Material.
Labor: The percentage applied to the coverage term type Labor.
Tooling: The percentage applied to the coverage term type Tool.
Traveling: The percentage applied to the coverage term type Travelling.
Help Desk: The percentage applied to the coverage term type Helpdesk.
Subcontracting: The percentage applied to the coverage term type Subcontracting.
Uptime: The percentage applied to the coverage term type Uptime.
Other: The percentage applied to the coverage term type Other.
All: The percentage applied to the coverage term type All.

Retrieve Latest Prices from Master Data

All Term Types: If this check box is selected, for all the term types, the prices are retrieved from the master data.
Material: If this check box is selected, for the material terms, prices are retrieved from the master data.
Labor: If this check box is selected, for the labor terms, prices are retrieved from the master data.
Tooling: If this check box is selected, for the tooling terms, prices are retrieved from the master data.
Traveling: If this check box is selected, for the travelling terms, prices are retrieved from the master data.
Help Desk: If this check box is selected, for the help desk terms, prices are retrieved from the master data.
