Inspections (tscfg3100m000)
Use this session to record the measurements while performing inspection on an item.
You can create inspections only if the Use Inspections check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session.
You can create an inspection for a service order activity/work order activity/customer claim when the activity status is free, planned, released or completed.
The inspections can only be used for serialized items, if the Return Material Required check box is selected in the Customer Claim Lines (tscmm1110m000) session and Supplier Claim Lines (tscmm2110m000) session.
The inspection are generated when the Measurement Type is specified on the claim lines.
Customer claim inspections are applicable only if the Use Service Inspections check box is selected in the Claim Management Parameters (tscmm0100m000) session.
This session can also be viewed as a satellite session in the Service Order Activity (tssoc2110m100) session. To view this session, the Inspections check box must be selected in the Service Order Activity group box in the Service User Profiles (tsmdm1150m000) session.

Note: LN allows you to select the measurement type from the Measurement Types by Serialized Item Group (tsmdm0171m000) session if the item specified in this session is part of a serialized item group, to which measurement types are linked. Note: A claim line can be approved only if the value in this field is set to Measured.Allowed values

If this check box is selected, a maintenance notification is generated for one of the applicable maintenance triggers for the serialized item.
- Line Number

The number that defines sequence for the successive inspection lines of the related business object. For example, if you specify a value of 10, LN assigns the value of 20, 30, 40 and so on to the successive inspection lines.
Note:- This field is enabled only if a business object is specified.
- The value in this field is defaulted from the Line field in the Reference Activity - Measurement Types (tsacm3160m000) session, if the business object is created from a reference activity.

If this check box is selected, the inspection is checked off and can no longer be modified.
Note: This check box is enabled only for measurements registered for work orders.
