Terminate Serialized Item Warranty (tscfg2250m000)

Use this session to terminate a warranty for a serialized item.

Before terminating the warranty, LN checks if a service object (orders, calls and so on) that is yet to be processed, exists for the serialized item with the Serialized Item Warranty Terms check box selected in the Serialized Items (tscfg2100m000) session.

Item

The code of the item.

Serial Number

The serial number of the item.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Warranty Template

The code of the warranty template linked to the item.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Terms Expire On

The date on which the warranty terms expire.

Reason

The code of the reason for the termination of the warranty.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Date

The date and time when the warranty is terminated.

Note: LN defaults the current date and time. However, you can modify this value.

The detailed description for the termination of the warranty.

Simulate

If this check box is selected, LN checks for a service object (orders, calls and so on) that is yet to be processed, for the serialized item. If existing, the warranty is not terminated and a report is generated which includes these calls and orders. If this check box is cleared, the Warranty Type of the linked service objects is set to No Warranty. Consequently, the warranty for the orders and calls is no longer applicable and the warranty amount for the related cost lines is recalculated.

Error Report

If this check box is selected, LN generates a report with the details of the error when the warranty termination process fails.

Process Report

If this check box is selected, LN generates a report with the details of the terminated warranty when the warranty termination process is successful.
