Physical Breakdown Change Lines (tscfg2141m000)
Use this session to view the changes in the physical breakdown structure of a parent item and a component. This session can be accessed only as a satellite session.
- You can view this session only if the Physical Breakdown Changes check box is selected in the Configuration Management Parameters (tscfg0100m000) session.
- You cannot delete the change line that has the Copied from PBS check box selected.
- You cannot add, modify or delete the line if the header Status is set to Closed.
- You cannot modify or delete the line if the line Status is set to Breakdown Updated.
- You can delete the line only if the Source of Change is set to Manual.
- For each Source of Change, only one line can exist.
- You cannot modify the line if the Source of Change is set to Service Order, Maintenance Sales Order or Work Order.
- You cannot modify the line, if the Status for the item related to the change line is set to To be Installed or To be Removed in the Physical Breakdowns (tscfg2110m000) session.

- Parent Item

The code of the parent item. The components of this item are changed.
Note: This value is defaulted from the Physical Breakdown Changes (tscfg2140m000) session. - Parent Serial Number

The serial number of the parent item. The components of this item are changed.

The number that identifies the change in the physical breakdown structure of the Parent Item.
Note: This value is defaulted from the Physical Breakdown Changes (tscfg2140m000) session. - Position

The position number of the component in the physical breakdown structure.
Note: This field can be modified only when you create the PB change line manually. When you modify the value, LN checks for an existing physical breakdown with the same position number in the Physical Breakdowns (tscfg2110m000) session. You cannot use the position number for which a physical breakdown is available. - Old Item

The code of the old component in the physical breakdown structure.

The description or name of the code.
- Source of Change

The source of the change.

- Before Order
- Maintenance Sales Order

Note:- This value is determined by the status of the related order and is set to Before Order or Manual, if change line is created manually.
- By default, this value is set to Manual if an order is not related to a change line.

The action that is performed on the component line.

- Install

The serialized item is installed into a physical breakdown.
- Keep

The serialized item is not modified.
- Remove

The serialized item is removed from the physical breakdown that it is currently in.
- Replace

The serialized item is replaced from the physical breakdown with another item.
Note:- If the New Quantity of the item is set to zero, LN defaults this field to Remove.
- This field cannot be set to Remove or Replace, for a newly created line.

The description or name of the code.
- New Item

The code of the new parent item
Note:- This field is disabled if the header Status is set to Closed.
- This field is not applicable when the Action is set to Keep or Remove.
- You cannot modify this value if the Source of Change is set to:
- Service Order
- Maintenance Sales Order
- Work Order
- New Serial Number

- To create a change in the physical breakdown structure, the
serialized item Status in the Serialized Items (tscfg2100m000) session must not be set to:
- Startup
- To be Recycled
- Superseded
- Removed
- You cannot create a physical breakdown structure for a new serialized item.
- You cannot use the Old Item (serialized) as New Item (serialized) if the Action is set to Replace.
- You cannot modify this value if the Source of Change is set to:
- Service Order
- Maintenance Sales Order
- Work Order
- New Item Description

- Old Quantity

The old quantity of the child item in the physical breakdown structure.
Note:- This value is not applicable if the Action is set to Install.
- This value is defaulted from the Quantity defined in the Physical Breakdowns (tscfg2110m000) session.
- New Quantity

The new quantity of the child item in the physical breakdown structure.
Note:- This field is disabled if the header Status is set to Closed.
- This value is mandatory and must be positive when the New Item and New Serial Number are specified.
- You cannot modify this value if the Source of Change is set to:
- Service Order
- Maintenance Sales Order
- Work Order
- Status

The status of the change line.
Allowed values
- Approved
- Rejected
- Breakdown Updated
- Free
- Pending Approval
- Workflow Status

The status that is applicable for the business object requires authorization using ION Workflow.
When you perform a change that requires authorization, a checked-out version is created for the business object. These changes are effective only after the approval/check-in.
- Checked-out and checked-in objects are displayed in the Checked-out Objects (ttocm9599m000) session.
- From the appropriate menu of this session, select Workflow and then select the required action for the business object.
Allowed values
If the business object is checked out, this field is set to Object status.
If the business object is checked in, this field is set to Approval status.
Regardless of the object being checked in or checked out, if a description is specified for the object type in the Workflow Information Fields (ttocm0106m000) session (which is displayed as a tab in the Object Types (ttocm0102m000) session), this field always displays the value of the appropriate Description field.

Note:- This field is disabled if the header Status is set to Closed.
- This value is defaulted from the Lot field in the Serialized Items (tcibd4501m000) session.
- Revision

The revision number of the New Item in the physical breakdown structure.
Note:- This field is disabled if the header Status is set to Closed.
- This field is applicable only if the Engineering Revisions Active check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session.
- This value is defaulted from the Lot in the Serialized Items (tcibd4501m000) session.
