Reference Activity - Subassemblies (tsacm2150m000)
Use this session to create and maintain subassemblies for a reference activity. You can create the subassemblies only if the Activity Use field is set to Depot Repair and the Item is specified in the Reference Activities (tsacm1101m000) session.
- To view this session, you must select the Repair Center check box in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session and the Use Subassemblies in Work Orders check box in the Work Order Parameters (tswcs0100m000) session.
- You cannot modify the data in this session if the current date and time exceeds the Expiry Time.

Note:- This value is defaulted from the Items - Service (tsmdm2100m000) session. The value in this field is set to 1 and you cannot modify this value if the Configuration Controlled field is set to Serialized in the Items - Service (tsmdm2100m000) session for the subassembly item .
- The value in this field is considered valid only if the value you specify is greater than zero.

- Effective Time

The effective date and time.

- You must set this field to a value greater than the Effective Time.
- Action Outgoing Subassembly

The action performed on the outgoing subassembly.
Allowed values
- To Location

The subassembly is transferred to the specified location. The subassembly is received from this location for assembly activity.
- To Location for Work
-
The subassembly is transferred to the specified location. A work order is generated to perform additional work on the subassembly.
- To Warehouse
-
The subassembly is transferred to the specified warehouse. The value is defaulted from the Service Offices (tsmdm1100m000) session. However, you can change the value. The subassembly can also remain in the warehouse. The Ownership of the subassembly must be set to Company Owned. The Action Incoming Subassembly field must be set to No Action. To replace the subassembly, a material resource line must be created.
- To Department
-
The subassembly is transferred to the specified department. A new work order must be created for the department to which the subassembly is transferred. The related orders (the initiating work order and the related work order) are maintained in the Related Orders (tsmdm4500m000) session.
- To Subcontractor
-
The subassembly is transferred to the specified subcontractor. When the outgoing subassembly is processed, a subcontracting activity is added to the work order. When this activity is released, a subcontracting purchase order (with the cost item) is generated for the work order.
Note: The subassembly is specified on the Purchase Orders (tdpur4100m000) header. - To Scrap

The subassembly is scrapped. No incoming subassembly is created. You can replace the subassembly with a new part (item) from the warehouse.

In this scenario, the value is defaulted from the Warehouse Outgoing Parts field in the Service Offices (tsmdm1100m000) session, based on the Work Center or the Service Office specified for the parent Reference Activity.
- This field is enabled and mandatory when the Action Outgoing Subassembly field is set to To Subcontractor and the Supply Item to Subcontractor check box is selected in the Reference Activities (tsacm1101m000) session. In this scenario, the value is defaulted from the Warehouse Outgoing Parts field in the Service Offices (tsmdm1100m000) session, based on the Work Center or the Service Office specified for the Reference Activity.

The action performed on the incoming subassembly.

- From Location

The subassembly is received from the specified location. The Disassembly Activity must be processed to receive the item.
- From Location for Work

The subassembly is received from the specified location. The Assembly Activity is executed only after the related work order for the subassembly is completed and closed.
- From Warehouse

The subassembly is received from the specified warehouse. A warehouse order is created when the Disassembly Activity is processed. The Assembly Activity is executed only after the item is delivered by Warehousing . If the outgoing subassembly is scrapped, you can generate a material resource line to replace the item.
- From Department

The subassembly is received from the specified department. The Disassembly Activity must be processed to receive the item. The Assembly Activity is executed only after the related work order is created.
- From Subcontractor

The subassembly is received from the specified subcontractor. The assembly activity is executed only after the outgoing subassembly is processed and the subcontracting purchase order is generated.
- No Action

The assembly activity does not use this subassembly.

The code of the routing option applicable for the Action Outgoing Subassembly.
Note:- This field is displayed only if:
- The Use Master Routing check box is selected in the Work Order Parameters (tswcs0100m000) session.
- The Use Routing Options check box is selected in the Activity Management Parameters (tsacm0100m000) session.
- This field is enabled only if the Master Routing is specified.
- LN defaults this value from the Reference Activity (tsacm1601m000) session, based on the routing option set as Default for the specified Master Routing.
- You cannot modify this value if the Expiry Time is before the current date and time.
