Reservation for rental agreement

The reservation of rental equipment is managed using the Planned Equipment Transaction (PET). When the rental order for a rental equipment is saved, a PET is created in the Planned Rental Equipment Transactions (tscfg2160m000) session. The rental equipment calendar data is updated based on the PET data.

The Availability check box in the Rental Equipment Calendar (tscfg2562m000) is selected based on the PET status:

  • Soft: The Availability check box is selected.
  • Hard: The Availability check box is cleared.

A maintenance can be performed for an equipment that you own by creating a service order activity in the Service Order Activities (tssoc2110m000) session. You can also create a planned activity for the maintenance of the equipment that you own.
