Planning and reserving an equipment

Rental equipment calendar enables you to identify the requirement for a specific rental equipment, schedule the usage of rental equipment, and ensure the availability at the required time and place.

For a rental equipment, you can maintain the availability in the Rental Equipment Calendar (tscfg2562m000) session. The rental calendar is created based on the Calendar and the Availability Type specified for the rental equipment in the Serialized Items (tscfg2100m000) session.

You can use these options for a rental equipment:

  • Create: Allows you to access the Create Rental Equipment Calendar (tscfg2562m000) session to create rental equipment calendar for the selected range of rental equipment.
  • Update: Allows you to access the Update Rental Equipment Calendar (tscfg2562m000) session to update the equipment calendars for the selected rental equipment.
  • Delete: Allows you to access the Delete Rental Equipment Calendar (tscfg2562m000) session to delete the equipment calendars for the selected rental equipment. The related Rental Synchronization Details are also deleted.
Note: To access these options, you must select the Equipment Calendaroption from the Actions menu in the Serialized Items (tscfg2100m000) session.

If the resource calendar is partially deleted, the Rental Calendar Synchronization data is updated with the system time.
