Distributed amounts
You can use the Top Down Budget Data (tpptc5110s000)session to distribute amounts, by cost type, from a top-down budget version, to a selected activity. The session displays the current undistributed amount and the remaining amount, before the activity amounts are specified. After the activity amounts are specified, the new undistributed amount and remaining amount are displayed. The variations in the distributed amounts are only saved for a particular version. This allows the data for a certain version to be derived from a previous version. You can distribute the amounts of the current top-down budget version only if:
- The status of the current top-down budget version is Free or Actual
- The status of the project that is linked to the top-down budget version, is Free or Active.
If the activity data is associated with a different version, Infor LN displays a message that the data must be copied to the current version.
Distributed budget
For example:
For A, the undistributed amount is 300: A - B - C = 300, the remaining amount for A = the undistributed version amount = contract amount - profit fee - management reserve - distributed budget. For B, the undistributed amount depends on the child elements and the remaining budget is the undistributed amount of the parent, in this case 300.
When distributing a certain amount to an activity:
- The amount cannot be higher than the amount of the parent activity.
- The amount cannot be lower than the total amount distributed to the child elements.
