Using element-based budget lines
You can create an element budget for a project, by linking elements of the project in a multi-level hierarchical structure. You can specify the budget lines for each element by using cost objects to the elements.
You can specify a cost object for a selected project and element, using one of these sessions based on the cost type:
- Element Budget (Material) (tpptc1510m000)
- Element Budget (Labor) (tpptc1511m000)
- Element Budget (Equipment) (tpptc1512m000)
- Element Budget (Subcontracting) (tpptc1513m000)
- Element Budget (Sundry Costs) (tpptc1514m000)
You can use the Print Element Budget Structure (tpptc1409m000) or Print Element Budgets (tpptc1410m000) session to print the output information of the budget.
You can view the history data of all the element budget transactions using these sessions:
- Element Budget History (Material) (tpptc1525m000)
- Element Budget History (Labor) (tpptc1526m000)
- Element Budget History (Equipment) (tpptc1527m000)
- Element Budget History (Subcontracting) (tpptc1528m000)
- Element Budget History (Sundry Costs) (tpptc1529m000)
