Copy Element Budget to Activity Budget (tpptc1240m000)

Use this session to copy all or part of an element budget to an activity budget.

For a project that is budgeted based on the element/element structure, the related budget information can be copied to any plan.
For a project that is budgeted based on the element/activity structure, the related element budget information cannot be copied to a leading plan.
You can only create the budget for the leading or actual plan by generating the control data for the project (budget). Therefore, element and activity budget related data cannot be copied.

Note:

If a material budget line is copied for which a configured generic item is present, the product variant cannot be copied.
For PCS items, the product variant is copied only if the budget line is copied within the same project.
If you copied a project or a budget, you must run the Customize Items in Budget (tpptc1255m000) session to customize the items on the budget lines of the new project and/or budget.

If the budget line with a PCS item is copied to another project, the PCS item cannot be copied and must be replaced:

If the item originates from a configured generic item, the generic item will replace the PCS item in the new project. The item that replaces the PCS item must be present in the Items - Project (tppdm0505m000) session, otherwise the budget line cannot be copied.
If the item is derived from a standard item, the standard item will replace the PCS item in the new project. The item that replaces the PCS item must be present in the Items - Project (tppdm0505m000) session, otherwise the budget line cannot be copied.
If the item is not derived from a standard or configured item, the budget line is not copied.

Note: You can access this session only if the Use Plan check box in the Project Planning Parameters (tppss0100s000) session is selected.

Field Information

Project: The code that uniquely identifies the project.
Project: The description or name of the code.
Project Status: the status of the project.
Element: The description or name of the code.
Budget Material Lines: If this check box is selected, budget lines with a cost type, material are copied.
Budget Labor Lines: If this check box is selected, budget lines with a cost-type, labor are copied.
Budget Equipment Lines: If this check box is selected, budget lines with a cost-type, equipment are copied.
Budget Subcontracting Lines: If this check box is selected, budget lines with a cost-type, subcontracting are copied.
Budget Sundry Cost Lines: If this check box is selected, budget lines with a cost-type, sundry costs are copied.
Plan: The code that uniquely identifies the plan.
Description: The description or name of the code.
