Activity Baseline (tppss2120m000)

Use this session to view the baseline dates for an activity.

The start and finish date and time fields are enabled only if you can modify the activity baseline data.

You can modify the activity baseline data if:

  • the activities linked to the activity baselines are the leaf nodes of the activity structure and
  • the status of the baseline is set to Free.

From this session, you can also save the baselines.

Field Information

Project

The code that uniquely identifies the project.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Project Status

The current project status.

Baseline

The code that uniquely identifies the baseline.

Baseline Status

The status of the current baseline.

Note: The baseline data cannot be updated after the baseline status is Approved.
Activity

The activity.

Baseline Start Date

The earliest possible start date and time of the activity when the baseline is created or approved. The value is defaulted from the selected baseline.

You can enter the start date manually or it can be taken from a particular schedule in an external scheduling package.

The value in this field is defaulted from the Activities (tppss2100m000) session.

Baseline Finish Date

The latest possible finish date and time of the activity when the baseline is created or approved. The value is defaulted from the selected baseline.

You can enter the finish date manually or it can be taken from a particular schedule in an external scheduling package.

The value in this field is defaulted from the Activities (tppss2100m000) session.

Scheduled Start Date

The scheduled start date and time of the activity.

Scheduled Finish Date

The scheduled finish date and time of the activity.

Actual Start Date

The actual start date and time of the activity.

Actual Finish Date

The actual finish date and time of the activity.

Start Variance [Days]

The difference in the number of days between the baseline start date and the actual start date of the activity.

Finish Variance [Days]

The difference in the number of days between the baseline finish date and the actual finish date of the activity.

Percentage Completed

The completion of the activity indicated as a percentage.

Parent Activity

The code identifies the parent activity.
