Verify Top-Down Estimate Consistency (tpest2220m000)
Use this session to verify whether the top-down estimate based on the primary structure is consistent; either for the specified substructure or the entire structure. Click Details to select the structure size. A check of the top-down consistency is performed only for one estimate version per check.
The check is performed in the following order using the level type of the Estimate Lines (tpest2100m000) session:
- For the Total option, the check finds out whether the total amount of the structural element does not exceed the parent structural element’s amount.
- For the Cost Type option, the check finds out whether the amount does not exceed the total amount of the same structural element.
- For the Detail option, the check finds out whether lines with the same cost type are less than or equal to the Cost Type amount.
- For the Other Structure option, the same rule applies as for the Detail option.

-
The description or name of the code.

- Include 'Out of Scope' Primary Structural Elements Also
-
If this check box is selected, all the structural elements of the primary structure, even the elements out of scope, are selected for the top-down estimate.
- Create Process Log
-
If this check box is selected, a process log is created in the Message Log (tpest0505m000) session, with the origin of the errors and warnings.
- Include Warnings
-
If this check box is selected, all warnings are displayed, including non-blocking warnings. A non-blocking warning is, for example, that top-down child elements have an amount less than the parent element. This information is not incorrect, but is worthwhile knowing.
