Serial numbers and production order completion

If production orders are used to produce serialized items, you can report completed (parts of) a production order by serial number.

Reporting serial numbers completed

Serial numbers on production orders can be reported completed in the Report Orders Completed (tisfc0520m000) session.

In the Report Orders Completed (tisfc0120s000) details session, you can specify the quantity that you want to report as completed in the Additional Quantity to Deliver field.

If you want to complete quantities by serial number:

  1. Specify a serial number in the Serial Number field. If you zoom on this field, the Serial End Item - As-Built Headers (timfc0110m000) session is started from which you can select a serial number
  2. Specify the quantity that you want to report as completed in the Additional Quantity to Deliver field
  3. Save the quantity

The sum of the quantities that you specified for the serial numbers in the Additional Quantity to Deliver field, is displayed in the Quantity to Deliver field. Saving this quantity reports it as completed.

Note: If the Lot Controlled check box is selected for the end item in the Items (tcibd0501m000) session, serial numbers can be used in combination with lots. The lot can be specified in the Lot Code field of the Report Orders Completed (tisfc0120s000) session.
