Maintaining the Capacity Load Table
Select the CLT for which you want to maintain data and then define it by recording the relative capacity requirement in relationship to the relative lead-time of an activity.
Capacity load tables indicate how the rough capacity requirement is divided over the activity duration. The capacity-load table is a graph. The percentage of the lead-time (activity duration) is on the horizontal axis. The vertical axis shows the percentage of the capacity requirement (that part of the activity which must be finished after a certain activity duration). This capacity requirement is the rough capacity recorded for the activity.
The standard graph is based on 100% activity duration and 100% capacity requirement. If the capacity requirement is not divided over the activity duration proportionally. This happens because, for example, more machines are available at the start of an activity than at a later stage. You can visualize the relationships in a graph.
If you have started this session by zooming, you can only find and select a record.
- Capacity-load tables can be linked to an activity in the Activity Relationships (tipcs4110m000) session.
- Capacity-load tables are used in the Generate Network Planning (tipcs4210m000) session for the rough capacity-requirements planning for a particular activity.
