Copying Customized Product Structure to Customized Structure

The copy procedure is as follows:

• For each customized item that must be copied, LN checks whether this item already belongs to the target project. If it does, LN can automatically generate a new customized item code, based on the first free customized item code recorded in the Projects (tipcs2101m000) session. This customized item can still be changed, if necessary. You can also adopt the existing customized item code.
• If no customized item is present yet, the data of the original customized item is copied to the target project. After copying this data, the production BOMs and the operations for customized manufactured parts are copied to customized BOMs and customized operations for the target project.
• If there is already a customized item for the target project for the original customized item, original customized item data is not copied for the existing customized item. The relevant customized item for the target project, and its underlying customized product structure, are regarded as the substitute for the original customized item. This does not apply to the FIRST BOM level in the customized product structure. The customized production BOM, and the customized operations for the original customized item at the top of the customized product structure, are always copied to the existing customized item for the copy project, after any old data has been deleted!
