Creating Production Order Groups
You can group orders in three different ways:
- By a range of criteria, such as work centers. If you want to carry out actions such as reporting complete all the production orders in a group at the same time in the Report Operations Complete by Order Group (tisfc0205m000) session, it makes sense to group orders with a similar routing.
- By orders for particular main items or component items: select the Main Item check box or the Material Item Selection check box.
- By individually selected orders: click Enter Specific Production Orders (tisfc4820s000) session is started in which you can enter the production order numbers that you want to group. . The
When you have selected the orders, you can make a subselection of your selection, using tools as a criterion. For example, in your initial selection, you select all orders with routing 001, then you select all tools with type 'screwdriver'. The orders to be added to the order group will then be all orders with routing 001 and using screwdrivers.
After you have formed the initial selection, you can accept or reject individual orders as part of the group in the Assign Orders to Production Order Group (tisfc3151s000) session, which starts automatically when you click in the current session. If orders within your selection range are already in order groups, you can display them in the Assign Orders to Production Order Group (tisfc3151s000) session by selecting the Display Already Grouped Orders check box. However, you cannot include them in the current group, because an order can only be in one order group. Therefore you must first remove the order from its existing group with the Production Orders (tisfc0501m000) session.
