tiedm domains
- Add
-
A specific component is added to the EBOM.
- Delete
-
A specific component in the EBOM is deleted.
- Replace
-
A specific component in the EBOM is replaced by a new component.
- Item
-
The component on the EBOM line is a standard item.
- E-Item
-
The component on the EBOM line is an E-item.
- EBOM to Production BOM Only
-
Only copy one line from the EBOM to the PBOM.
- Copy E-Item to Item
-
Copy the E-item to an item, and copy the relevant EBOM line to the PBOM line.
- NonProj Item to Proj Item
-
Do not copy an E-item or EBOM, but copy a non-project item to a project item. That is, a standard item to a customized item. Also copy the non-project item's bill of material and routing to the project item's BOM and routing. This option is only available if you select the Customize Copied Item check box in the Engineering Data Management Parameters (tiedm0100m000) session.
- No Copy Action
-
No components are copied. This occurs in the following circumstances:
- The unit of the source component does not match the unit of the target component.
- There is no valid approved revision of the E-item.
- A project item is copied to an unrelated project item.
- With MBC
-
The copy data that is generated by MBCs is copied to the production environment.
- Without MBC
-
The copy data that is manually generated is copied to the production environment.
- In Design
-
The initial status of the MBC.
- Frozen
-
The MBC definition is finished and waits for the next action.
- Approved by Engineering
-
The MBC meets your engineering requirements and can be used to make changes to EBOMs and E-item revisions.
- Approved by Production
-
The MBC meets your production requirements and can be used to copy E-item revisions and EBOMS to the production environment. An MBC must first be a Approved by Engineering before it can be approved for production.
- Canceled
-
The MBC is not in use.
- Finalized
-
The MBC has been used to copy E-item revisions and EBOMS to the production environment.
- Single-Level
-
If this value is selected the Engineering BOM (Single - Level) (tiedm141001000) is printed.
- Multilevel
-
If this value is selected the Engineering BOM (Multilevel) (tiedm141101000) is printed.
- Summarized
-
If this value is selected the Summarized Multilevel EBOM (tiedm141201000) or Summarized Multilevel EBOM (Sorted by dimensions) (tiedm141202000) is printed containing only the raw materials needed.
Summarized EBOMs contain only the purchased items, all the intermediate levels are left out of the printed report.
- In-design
-
The initial status of the revision.
- Frozen
-
You can no longer change the design of the revision.
You can still reset the revision status to In-design.
- Approved by Engineering
-
The design of the revision has passed its first approval step. Typically, the person responsible for the design is permitted to change the status to Approved by Engineering.
You can still reset the revision status to In-design.
Before you can copy a revision to a production item or to a production bill of material, the revision status must be set to Approved by Production.
- Approved by Production
-
The design of the revision has passed its final approval. Typically, the person responsible for production is permitted to change the status to Approved by Production.
The revision can now be copied to a production item or to a production bill of material.
You can no longer change the design or reset the revision status to an earlier status.
- Canceled
-
The revision is no longer used.
- All Available Lines
-
All the PBOM lines are replaced by the EBOM lines and by non-EBOM lines. The latter are lines from a standard PBOM that are copied to a project (using the copy method NonProj Item to Proj Item in the EBOM Copy Data (tiedm1120m000) in the session).
- Only Corresponding Pos.
-
Lines in the PBOM with the same position numbers as the EBOM are replaced by the corresponding EBOM lines and non-EBOM lines. The other PBOM lines remain unchanged.
- Corresp. and Linked Pos.
-
The following lines in the PBOM are replaced by EBOM lines and non-EBOM lines:
- Lines in the PBOM that have the same numbers as EBOM lines.
- Lines in the PBOM that have numbers that differ from the EBOM line numbers, in which case the Link with EDM check box in the Bill of Material (tibom1110m000) session must be selected, and the numbers were created by previous finalizing actions on the engineering data.
The other lines from the PBOM remain unchanged. These lines are not engineering-related (for example, packing materials). In this way, you can make a clear distinction in PBOMs between engineering-related components and logistics components which do not relate to engineering.
