Tool Components (titrp0106s000)
Use this session to link components to a multipiece tool.
You can only assign a component to a multipiece tool if the Tool's Life Based On that is defined in the Tools (titrp0101m000) session is the same for the component tool as well as the multipiece tool.
- If the multipiece tool status is New or Available, you cannot link components with the Blocked status to the multipiece tool.
- If a multipiece tool is linked to a routing or to a tool kit that is used in the Operation (Step) - Tools (tirou1110m000) session, you cannot delete the tool.
- You can print the tool components on the production order documents using the Print Production Order Documents (tisfc0408m000) session.

Note: For best results, a multipiece tool and all its components must have the same lifetime serial number. A multipiece tool is defined in the Tool Components (titrp0506m000) session.
You cannot modify this field if the tool is either used as a multipiece tool or as a component in the Tool Components (titrp0506m000) session.

The component that is linked to the multipiece tool defined in the Tool field. The component is a tool type defined in the Tools (titrp0101m000) session. The tool type's tool class must be Tool Component.
