Job Shop Scheduler (tisch1200m000)
Also to:
- Create a new run and calculate the production schedule based on existing input data.
- Update the actual production orders with the scheduled results.
- Delete old runs.
- Delete old input data and scheduled results.
Field Information
- Site
-
The site ID.
The site is defaulted from the user profile. Depending on the authorization of the user it is possible to switch between sites.
- Plan Group
-
The plan group for which the production schedule is calculated.
Note: The specified plan group must be linked to the site and enabled for scheduling. - Run
-
The run ID.
The run ID consists of two parts to distinguish different runs calculated from the same input data.
- A meaningful code based on a mask. (9 positions, including a counter)
- A sequence that is controlled by LN.
If the run is based on new input data the sequence number is 01.
If the run is based on existing input data the sequence number is 02, 03 and so forth.
- Horizons
-
- Creation Date
-
The date the scheduler run is created.
- Time Fence
-
The date until which the plan group supply plan and planned orders are frozen. The time fence is expressed in a number of working days.
- Horizon
-
The time period for which LN maintains scheduling data for the specified planning group. The horizon is expressed in a number of working days.
- Objectives
-
- Minimize Maximum Lateness
-
If this check box is selected, the maximum lateness of the machine operations in the schedule is minimized.
- Minimize Total Setup
-
If this check box is selected, the total setup time of all machine operations in the schedule is minimized.
- Algorithms
-
- Earliest Due Date (EDD)
-
If this check box is selected, the scheduling algorithm is based on the earliest due date (EDD) dispatching rule.
- EDD, SST | EDD
-
If this check box is selected, the not changeover critical machine capacity groups are scheduled with the earliest due date (EDD) rule and the changeover critical machine capacity group is scheduled with the shortest setup time rule (SST). When scheduling, if multiple changeover critical machine capacity groups can have the shortest setup time apply, the earliest due date of the production orders is considered to resolve the conflict in planning.
- Constraints
-
- Start State Empty
-
If this check box is selected, the changeover critical machine has all states empty at the start of the run.
If this check box is cleared, the last known state of the changeover critical machine is taken at the start of the run.
- Production Order Update
-
- Actual
-
If this check box is selected, actualized production orders are included in the schedule.
- Automatic Update Production Orders
-
If this check box is selected, the position of a production order in planning is updated automatically.
- Reports
-
- Process Report
-
If this check box is selected, a process report is generated along with the schedule.
- Error Report
-
If this check box is selected, an error report is generated along with the schedule.
- Options
-
- Update Pegging Relations
-
If this check box is selected, pegging relations are updated every time a schedule is generated.
