Print Kanban Labels (tirou2402m000)

Use this session to print Kanban labels.

In this session, you must define (ranges for) a combination of item, routing and operation. For each operation in a routing, a work center exists. With this session, you can print kanban labels to pass intermediate products on to the next work center in a routing.

Note: You can define kanban related information in the Routing Operations (tirou1102m000) session.

Configuration Reference Date

A user definable date that LN uses to check whether an operation is valid. An operation is valid on the reference date if it falls within the operation's effective date and expiry date, as defined in the Routing Operations (tirou1102m000) session.

Note: You can only print kanban labels for valid operations.
Label Layout

If you use Kanban labels to trigger supply on the job shop, the label layout entered in this field determines the format of the labels. You can define the use of kanban labels in the Print Kanban Labels (tirou2402m000) session.

Note: The default value in this field equals the value defined in the Job Shop Master Data Parameters (tirou0100m000) session.

Connect as phantom routing

If the item range includes a phantom item, you can select this check box to connect the combination of the item, routing and operation as a phantom routing to an operation of an item situated on a higher BOM level.

As a result, the kanban labels are printed for the selected (joined) operation in the (joined) routing of the (joined) item in the higher BOM level.
