Archive/Delete Product Variants (tipcf5290m000)

Use this session to archive product variant data, such as:

  • Product variant code.
  • Product variant option sets.
  • Product variant option.
  • Sales price structure for product variants.

This session is used to transfer the data of the processed product variants to an archive company. The data of the archived product variants is deleted from the original company.

Note: PCF data cannot be archived if:
  • The product variant is used in a sales order line.
  • The product variant is used in a sales order line history.
  • The Product varian is linked to an item.

Field Information

Product Variant

The product variant code for which the LN archives product variant data.

Configuration Date

The date on which the product variant data is last changed.

Archive Standard Variants

If this check box is selected, product variants for which the reference type is set to Standard Variant are archived.

Original Company

The current company from which the data must be archived.

Company Name

The name of the company.

Archive-to Company

The archive company to which the data is transferred.

Note: 
  • This is a display field.
  • The company is defined in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0500m000) session.
Company Name

The name of the company.

Type

The action performed on the data.

Allowed values

Delete Only

Deletes the selected data.

Archive Only

Copies the selected data to an archive company.

Archive and Delete

Copies the selected data to an archive company and deletes from the original company.

Archive General Data

If this check box is selected, common item data, such as units, customer, and supplier are also archived. This process must be performed regularly to guarantee the referential integrity.

Archive Text

If this check box is selected, text is also archived.

Overwrite Text

If this check box is selected, an existing text is overwritten with updated text.

Delete Variants linked to processed Quotations

If this check box is selected, all product variants linked to processed sales quotations are deleted.
